Approach

Lifestyle Interior Strategy Method

My work is based on a psychology-informed approach to interior design.

I begin every project by understanding how a person actually lives — their routines, habits, priorities and relationship with home.
Rather than starting with style, the process begins with people.

Through a structured analysis of lifestyle, spatial behaviour and daily rhythms, the interior gradually takes shape: the layout, movement through space, light scenarios, material palette and atmosphere are all defined by how the space will be lived in.

The result is an environment that feels natural, intuitive and deeply personal — a space that not only looks refined, but truly supports the life unfolding within it.

Step 1. Lifestyle Discovery

Every project begins with a deep understanding of how a client lives, works and recharges.

The goal is to uncover the patterns that should shape the home.

  • daily routines
  • work / rest balance
  • hosting habits
  • privacy needs
  • sensory preferences (light, textures, sound)
  • priorities and frustrations in the current home

Step 2. Spatial Strategy

Lifestyle insights are translated into spatial strategy — how the home is organised, how spaces connect and how daily movement flows through them.

Several layout options are explored to find the most natural and functional solution for the way the client lives.

  • functional zoning
  • circulation paths
  • light orientation
  • storage logic
  • relationship between public and private zones

Step 3. Concept Direction

The concept defines the atmosphere of the home — calm, balanced and reflective of the client’s personality.

  • aesthetic direction
  • emotional atmosphere
  • art and object language
  • material philosophy

Step 4. Material & Light Composition

Materials, colour and lighting are carefully composed to create a calm and coherent living environment.

  • natural materials
  • colour palette
  • light scenarios
  • tactile qualities
  • furniture and objects

Step 5. Detailed Design

The concept is translated into a comprehensive set of technical drawings and specifications required for implementation.

This stage ensures that the project can be executed with clarity and precision.

  • detailed technical drawings
  • construction documentation set
  • bespoke joinery design
  • material and product specifications
  • coordination with contractors and suppliers

Step 6. Living Integration

The final stage ensures that the space fully supports the rhythms of everyday life.

  • implementation guidance
  • styling
  • final adjustments
  • adapting the space to everyday living
